The Chopper Compendium

Just checking in everybody. Things are settling down a bit and I'm finding more time to work on bikes. Nothing super cool yet.

Got the bikes shipped out and put together. Rode to work and a co-worker snapped some shots and did his magic.

We are actually in Kamuela (North Central). I'm working as the Instrument Designer/Machinist for Canada France Hawaii Telescope, so once every so often I venture to the summit of Mauna Kea. Thanks everybody! Don't know when my next build will start - just found out we are moving to Hawaii in June or July.

My learing experience with jigs and weld quality/proceedure - I built a frame on a very rigid jig and sent it to powdercoat. The heat from the powdercoat cycles actually moved some of the tubing around - it actually 'stress relieved' my frame and made evident my failure to follow proper welding tech...

It's a Briggs & Stratton 35hp. It's 1000cc's and makes over 50lbft of torque in stock form. Thanks for the front end comments!
