Ok I will quit being a cheap ass. I guess i will learn how to use that 4th axis on the new mill. I was trying not to use any machine.
hell we will keep the pcs around for some large tab or brackets.
and as to the rivit, i was going to heat a grade 5 bolt then flaten the back side.

so when I checked the v'ed part the v turns out to a 1/4 " wide and 3/16 deep. so would it be better to weld them and round the edges instead of grinding flat.

all parts were v'ed the welded. will also plug weld.the weld in the pic is the second pass.

So if you need a piece 1/2 thick is it ok to weld 2 pcs 1/4 thick together

the letters cbh
was not for sure how to put the cbh on my ride. so I came up with this, it will be mounted on the dash and one on the rear fender. first thing i an going to do is build the leg ends Joe uses turned spuds I will be using 1\2 plate Joe also has a 2.063 offset in the front leg. So to avoid this, I will be building a truss across the top, much like Gary does on his springer build. Also not for sure about set up after reading the ot...

I have a few parts left over parts some springers i built from CSC blueprints. My goal is to use them to build a basic springer, maybe a leafer not to sure how i will be able to use the parts i have left.
