Re: Frameless frame
Hello,
Don't know if it's of any help but a British guy called Twizzle built a frameless Triumph some years back. He used the exhaust as a stressed member. If you google Twizzle custom bikes you should be able to find him

If might be misremembering but I think some condensers are polar sensitive and blow at the slightest hint of trouble. leaving you with an open circuit. Love that I-beam frame. The bike looks like a machine tool, I mean that in a good way. What kind of finish are you going to use?

Re: Is there a test for ignition module?
No. In the end it was quicker to strip every system off the the loom until only the igniton module was a possibility. Not as big a job as it sounds becuase my Sportster's loom is pretty minimal. I've got a Dyna programmable ignition module on order at the moment. Harley no longer make the module for...

Thanks for the offer but I've got the problem sorted out now. Much appreciated though.hansgoudzwaard wrote:Would you like a few pages for troubleshooting the ignition system for a '96 Buell. Includes the module in the diagram and write up.

Is there a test for ignition module?
Does anybody know a test for ignition modules? My Sportster won''t rev above a fast idle and I've exhausted all the causes I can think of. Only thing I can think of is the module but I want to be 100% sure before coughing up a couple of hundred for a new one. Anyone got a test that doesn't require w...
