I've used lumiweld and found it okay for small items, the trick is getting enough heat into the work piece to make the Lumiweld rod melt on contact allowing it to 'tin'. Lumiweld can be polished but don't expect an invisable repair. The other thing you might want to bear in mind is that Lumiweld is ...

Thank alot man...I like the front alot more now that I cut the small bars off & replaced them with much longer 5/8.I figured out my bars too.Hope to have them made up tomorrow....Whats up with the Beemer man??? Beemer is coming along slowly. I'll post a few pics again when I have something pret...

For what it's worth I like the leafer and the current bars. I keep saying it; I love this build.

aluminum tank question

I'm thinking of making a prism tank out of aluminum. Does anyone know what thickness metal I should be using? Any help appriciated.

Might be the seals. It's not unknown for 'soft' seals to get past quality control.

I agree the show is a load of crap. If you want some 'intresting' builds check out the Channel 4 Website and look for Scrapheap Challenge.

I'm a 100% behind your sig. I don't give a fuck how OCC do it either, but then I don't give a fuck how anyone else does it either. I still don't think it's cool to slag off other peoples' work because you don't share their taste in bikes.
