Thanks guys, already cut out the lower tree from stem.

Trying to remove lower tree from steering shaft, no nut to take off. Looks to be press fitted inside tree, want to use steering shaft for springer front end.

Chopper frame is now in first coat of primer, three more coats then start painting frame a nice blue.

Hey guys and gals, todays progress. Removed old stock trees from neck, getting ready for springer front end mockup. Trying to see if I can re use main steering shaft from neck.

Hey guys and gals, I am trying to remove my trees from bike. There is a nut on top to undo, first time removing trees. I need them off upper and lower for my springer to mount up, any help greatly appreciated. I can take picture if needed.

Cool man, You will need a city block just to turn around when turning hahaha

Hey guys and gals, todays fun been doing final welding of hardtail . Then grind welds down smooth and sand all frame to bare metal, trying to decide on frame color, and best primer to use that is high quality. hahaha

Springer tubing arrived for build today, $108.50 total cost

Hello Railroad bob hope all is well with your builds, working on chopper gas tank fab work. Might re use my old stock gas tank and chop it down to the size I want and need to fit up nicely, here is a pic with the stock Honda tank on frame. Seems to wide and long, so we will figure out what to do.

Well , another pic of progress on springer build. About half way done all the drilling, then need to do final shaping of all parts on grinder. Got list ready to order the springs and tubing materials. More coming soon.
