Re: Want opinions

Just got home, saw this...
Thanks Curt, I think I'll follow your suggestion. Not concerned about the looks as much as the performance.

Re: My 91 FXR EVO engine

Re: My 91 FXR EVO engine

Truth right there... Having problems finding the right gasket for the cylinder base. Local independent ordered a set, but they were for S&S. ID was too large, but mostly the bolt holes were wrong locations Terry Stewart said he can get the gaskets, but very expensive. And I'm not sure they would...

Too bad about the Feds screwing the pooch and starting the fires. Hope no one gets hurt.
Some nice bikes on the street. As always, yours is a standout.
Thanks for posting. Wish I had been there. I've always liked riding the Rockys.

Re: My 91 FXR EVO engine

Update: Some slight progress. Piston order completed, sent to engineers at CP. 14-17 week lag time for completion. In the meantime, I've been shopping for cyl base gaskets. I have Delkron cases for 3 5/8 cyls, and the cyls have a 4" spigot at the base, requiring an oversized gasket. My local in...
