Re: INSTALL A OPEN PRIMARY BELT DRIVE.....
TranyHub.JPG Determined that the belt drive would not work in the 140 frame. The transmission came with a belt drive hub/sprocket. Took it off yesterday, and am ordering a chain steup for this bike. Had to remove the inner primary, but left all else in place. I will use a 51 tooth rear sprocket I b...

I'm considering putting a small amount of fiber type wheel bearing grease on these, but am afraid of that stuff getting in...

Re: 69 BSA Rocket3... the Unholy Virgin
When the mark on the crank gear was at 12:00 piston was at TDC. Unfortunately for some reason it put number 3 at TDC not number 1. Ignition is set at full advance at 38* BTDC. I got past all that & it does fire, just cant keep it running, pretty sure cause its not getting enough fuel. Couple po...

Looks like a breakfast I would enjoy.
I did a Google search and this dish is huge.
It's on the menu at the California hotel in Las Vegas.

Re: INSTALL A OPEN PRIMARY BELT DRIVE.....
The nice thing is that every thing that came with the motor is in good condition, ignition module, coil, etc. I have a 5 speed gear set that came with it, so i'll trade that off at some point. I had a few questions I needed answers for , so I called a lad who has a bike shop outside of Vancouver, Ca...

HEY, It Runs !!
Fired it up today for the first time since I bought it.
Happy about that. I'm going to leave the wiring as it is.
