The gooseneck and leaf flow pretty good together.

Re: In the midst of not so much chaos

Its coming together nicely. You definately maximized the useful fuel capacity, I like that gooseneck filler. I like the seat mount, too, does that system give you good flex?

Re: Super B, anyone?

Damn. Thats a pro and a con. My knee is already hard against the airfilter, and I need a couple of inches extension for the highway peg already. But I do love top end. Oh well, one issue at a time. I already need to change the front pipe for forward controls. Adding carb length to the equation, mayb...

Re: Paulie Jr. Moving to Napa

Had it not been for the tv, they would have continued in obscurity in the same building forever. Probably wouldn't have completly desyroyed their family relationships, either. Hope the temporary millionaire status was worth it. (Hope they invested wisely.) As has been mentioned, as soon as the camer...

Re: Super B, anyone?

Ahh. This is the first bike I have had with an accelerator pump, anyway. If I'm not hard launching it shouldn't be a big issue. Hmm, if I do this I will definately clean the shorty and store it till I decide if I like it. Is the b a longer carb body than the shorty? That may make some difference to ...

Looking good. I would love to chop a rocket3, but I have been called sick.

Re: Maz's GS550 project

That's a clean ride, I like that verticle line for the back and down tubes at the head stock. The girder is very clean as well. I'm starting to think that would be a good thing for me to do to mine. I do happen to have access to a 21" spoke wide glide wheel... It will have to wait till I get th...

Super B, anyone?

Spent yesterday finishing the wiring on my sporty, a few more details and she should be ready to go, for a minute. Pics coming soon. She is a late '84, 1000 cc, and has the 3+ gallon tank. Here is my issue, 85 miles to tank. My proposed solution, does anyone have a spare super b they will part with?...

Re: gonna be a slow build

I love the way the world works. Maz is on the oother side of the pond, on the big v-8 hunt. I saw some pics of an Alfa-Romeo 75 based trike. The 2ltr twin cam version, (we called it the Milano here and only sent the v-6 versions). I would love to find some of the old european engines, from just abou...
