Re: Dusty's Bonneville Scout Build

I had to go back through this thread, but couldn’t find anything about the heads except you saying they were done. Did you make them?

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate

Tried out some new powder for my rims (translucent brass over super chrome) & desided to go a little thinner on tires. Went from a 100/90 to a 3.00

Re: Modifying a double oven

1st part out of the oven since the mod. Translucent brass over super chrome. The chrome was a real bitch to use, so think I’m gonna try a different brand. I am happy with the color of the brass.

Re: Modifying a double oven

Door is skinned. I took 2 of the tempered windows from the oven & installed them in the new door. A little air space between the two will help heat lose. The rest of the stuff I needed to cut off is done. The door wound up much heavier than I planned, so I hope the couple strips Of sheet metal l...

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate

The exhaust is done with the exception of a few mounts & the wrap. I’ll wait till the motor is done to do that.

Re: Modifying a double oven

Got the frame for the door built & the inside skinned. Hole for the window is cut. Didn’t order enough seal, so I’ll wait to put the 2 windows in until it gets here. The studs & empty areas will be filled with insulation.

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate

Some of the things I was working on got put on hold. So I thought now would be a good time to something I’d planned on but in no hurry to do. I made a kick peddle out of a couple wrenches. Saw a pic of this done, so I did mine a little different. 8C9E6D37-15EA-495C-809B-2A70E54C281E.jpeg 17CCCF46-05...

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate

Some exhaust work...Not having a bender for this, I have to cut alot of radius pieces. Originally I was going make the pipes bolt to the heads, but I wound up just using the stock spigots. They were in rough shape so I cut the fins off. Think theres about 30 peices so far.Ran out of tube so wil have...

Modifying a double oven

I picked up a double wall oven cheap, so I thought that I would cut the middle out to make a single bigger oven.this is where I’m at now. I have the one element under the floor & will replace the top broiler element for the baking element that was under the floor for the top .Repacked the walls ...

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate

Itook some time to tighten up my shifter linkage. 1st I had to make a stud for the bottom of the trans, so I could get it tight to make the adjustments. I threw the crank in & primary. The cover for the chain was made at this point. When things were where I wanted them I cut down the shifter &am...
