Why would you piece it together like that when you could just figure the width and make two bends, so it is one continuous piece?

Although video's may help some people to visualize things, you would be money ahead to buy Gary's CD's. I have never seen the video's you question, but there are video's by competant people in the industry, such as Ron Covell.

They list there sprockets as #40-50-60,my chain is a 530. Dose 50=530?

As it says, "NECKNOCUPS". The drawing is for a complete neck to install just the bearing races. The Timken bearing (cone) and race (cup) numbers are on the drawings. I would get your races, measure O.D. and machine for press fit. Usually around .005". Although this may vary some depen...
