springer build video
Guys need any help you can think of on how to light any work area for videoing a springer build in my shop. I am going to do a build based my take of gary's rude crude build and try to explain in great detail the why and how of the geometry and fab work.

Re: springer build video
The last time I got involved with filming (I hope there's no copies left out there ) we used USA made "Sun" lamps to give the warm light required..these are a brand called "Sun" and not sun-tan lamps....what you basically need is warm light so you get proper colours rather than just bright white (or blue/white) light that makes everything go high contrast.....you can probably get some suitable lamps that are intended for security use, particularly where an area needs to be illuminated for cameras etc.......
Hope that makes some kind of sense....

.When I first put up fluorescents I found it very hard to work with soft lighting.Bright does make it easier to work, for me anyway. To me getting the work done would be priority.Unfortunately I couldn't say how much if any detail would be lost filming in bright light.

- SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.
