springer rocker dxf files

Post by curt »

does anyone have the springer rocker plates on dxf files the ones from the plans would be fine but i wouldnt refuse alternate styles too. i found someone to cut me a whole front end out on a watterjet machine if i make him one too . i can do em by hand but it just seems to save some serious time if i can get em done this way . i do have the dimensions from the plans if you need me to send em to you to convert them just let me know . i appreciate any help anyone can give thanks

SELF INTRODUCTION: So,...I guess I'm a newb. Can I get my "General Smart-Ass" moniker back, or do I actually have to build something. Like a chopper for example. I am hoping to re-start a build that's been sitting in my shop for a couple years with most of the parts already acquired.
Just wanted to thank Dan and anyone else involved in getting this board up and running.
Dan is a personal friend of mine and one of the finest people I know. I have a world of respect for him, not just for his work here but also for reasons beyond this forum.
Not sure if that's 200 words, but that's my intro and I'm sticking to it.

SELF INTRODUCTION: I was on the last board as bonustoolkit. I have changed that to my given name.
I started a project build there " File and Fit." I paln to continue that when I go back home in Dec. 2011. I first joined the board when Gary W had it in the year 2005. That was the time I really gained an interest in building chops. I have a long way to go, compared to some here.

I went thru the CHB CD. There are no DXF files for rockers on mine. Just the yokes and the triple trees.

I built this springer for Grease Rag Customs a few years ago. The customer wanted something sick that could hurt someone if they touched it.
Not exactly my style but I'm proud of the craftsmanship in it.
(The guy picked up his bike to make room in Rob's shop and never paid for the work. Bummer)

Thanks! OK, Uh...I have the files converted to DXF. I'll try to attach them and see what happens.

OK, It says DXF not allowed. Anyone that wants the files (I converted the rockers, spring perch, spring plate, and top and bottom trees) please send me an email. My email address is: mdforan at frontier dot com. (I spelled it out because of the automatic spamming searching thingies)
