The series looks like it's going to be another 'drama' thing but the group of kids bike was very nice. The other 2 were weird. I thought they said this new series was supposed to be 'garage-based' builders only.

SELF INTRODUCTION: I first found the chopperbuilders handbook back in 2004. Thanks to the board, and all its members, I was able to build My bike, and have ridden it 25,000 miles. I learned a lot, made some friends, and had a great time building it

I saw one episode, and have it set up to record episodes to watch when I get a chance. I liked that is is supposed to be garage based

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hello everyone. first of all a big thanks to "Dan the Man". Some of you know me from the previous (2) boards and some don't, so here goes. I have been a fabricator/welder for over 40 years now. Damn that's a helluva long time to do anything! Anyways, I have built literaly 100's of street rods, pro streeters, racecars, bikes and trikes over the years. Never made the headlines and never will. I do what I do because it is the love of my life.
I enjoy reading the posts on the forum and try to contribute when I can. I am sure that this will be every bit as good as the CBH forum, as we will have most of the same folks. Good luck and post a lot of pics!! Jim

Yep.drama and pure ass stupidity! Although a couple of nice looking bikes have been built so far.
They are not sticking to the garage based builds either!

I imagine that they will never get any real garage-based builders after what I've read on some of the other boards about the 'contract' and 'conditions' you have to sign on with. So far it appears as if more people have turned them down than have signed-on for the show. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The 'media' has no clue about choppers, including the bike magazines, which is why the general public has a view of choppers and bikers that has been filtered and shaped by the various media. In fact the media has actually tried to rewrite some chopper history so that it fits in with what they think choppers 'should' be.
Hopefully the show will get better but I understand there is another series in the works by another channel so we'll see what comes around this summer.
