I want to make a couple frames I have a friend who used to ride triumph back when I did I would like to make one for him too . and I never liked the way the oil in frame, frames have their lower tubes where the motor mount goes so wide with spacers . I like the older frames with the single downtube and narrow lower rails one with the removeable front mount would be perfect to set up my jig

i actually have some dimentions already and I built a frame around a motor sort of similar to the way you do but what im looking to do is put a stock frame I know that is good on my jig it makes it real easy to set it up and its nice to have the factory frame to refer back to if for some reason you have a problem and to make sure when changing the jig around everything is right without a thousand measurements

didn't get a chance to dig out the jig so I could set it up but I did get a chance to take a bunch of measurements and check things out . I would love to be able to draw up some plans for everyone to make things easier for everyone . something that looks like all the plans we al already have for Harleys . I have searched high and low and haven't been able to find anything to go by so I had to buy one maybe the next guy wont . I don't know how to do that so anyone that would be willing to draw them up id be willing to take all the measurements we could put it in the downloadable plans section . from everything ive measured so far the front frame loop is very nice shape the numbers work out to be a june 69 Bonneville wish it was a 70 for the removeable front mount but I should be able to make that mod once my jig is set up . I also want to move the seat post tube back the inch and a half so the rear mount is in line with the tube should be very easy to get the complete motor in by myself without scratchin the fresh paint . it dosent have as much bondo as I thought someone welded plates on between the upper tubes instead of filling it completely so it should come out nicely . they welded the bolt on hardtail did a decent job on the bottom but the top where it meets the backbone is horrible surprised no one got hurt ill get better pics when I get some bondo off of that area . it also looks like the hardtail was welded on a bit off as in it is at a downward angle from the point where it bolts on it is slight but it is off so its going to have to be un welded and fixed maybe a new one .

You hand draw out the prints I will make the drawings if no one else will?

Can make in auto cad or draft sight with dropbox links? and make pdf versions of them also?

We can update them and do redo measurements as we remember what we need or do not have?

Ok i can update and change them pretty fast the templetes are easy to make like the cbh ones and the prints are really easy to make and adjust.

I can get a rough print in a hour for approval and then repair 2 or 3 times until it is measured in every way possible.

That does not matter I will covert to decimals.

Replied with the needed measurements to start then we go from there and see what happens! he he he fine tune it in.
