I had planned on re-creating this test yesterday evening.

But wanted to prime up the oil system first.
Which I did do and everything seemed to work as it should.
I had to turn down the regulator all the way to get to 30 psi.

But that pressure can is a bit more difficult to control than expected. I made a big mess right off the bat. Sprayed about a quart of oil all over the place including in my face.
So after the prime up and subsequent clean up I just went in to bathe the oil out of what's left of my hair.....lol

That's a serious ass pre-oiler! I usually use a hand pumped brake bleeder and have manged to get pre-oiled a little but nothing like that.

Put all 5 quarts in through it.

I only takes a small shot of air to pressure up.

I put way too much air in on the first shot and pegged out the 100 psi gauges.
In a panic to get the pressure off before blowing the filters off I hit the air dump valve while looking directly at it.
Can had 5 quarts in it and I guess the oil galley had a good bit of air pressure pushing back as it was not Primed, I had just started.
So popped the air hose quick release and slapped open the air valve. Oil pushed back and I got a good pressure stream right back out the air hole.

Live and learn.
I had just made this out of whatever I had laying around.
Had to learn how to use it somehow.

Okey dokey then.......

As there are no questions then let me ask one.

So the throttle bodies came off a kwak zx12r.
It was a speed density system.
I have programmed up Alpha N.

I am lead to believe that I won't have enough vacuum span to actually use the MAP.

So I made a vacuum accumulator can today.
Hoping I can get some speed density going on.
It would improve drivability.

So whatcha think?
Will the fk10 (270 @ .050) cam make enough vacuum span to program with?

Now to weld up the other header.

Curing time has ended.
Now doing the P4G test on the por15.

I am at 24hrs in the gas that is considered to be the worse here.
It is not even colored the same as the others.

Zero effect on the pot 15.

I suppose another 24 hrs in the gas I commonly run wouldn't hurt.

So.
24 hrs in the cheap gas.
24hrs in the gas at the corner .
24hrs in the good gas across town.

And zilch.
No effect.
Of course there is no telling what there will be in gas in the future.

Well does it have enough vacuum span to run the map? Tighten that annoying belt.

That was the very first start.

A long ways to go on tuning yet.

I have ran several warm up cycles now.
Things are loosening up and settling in.
Getting over the start up hots.

Once the engine is run in enough (almost there) I will start tuning on it and chasing down the problems.

No do not know about the vacuum yet.
