i think the leafer looks good on it, personally. and on the license plate light, have you seen the license plate bolts with LEDs in them? takes care of two things at once.

I really want to run the leafer, but Im bummed that I think it totally throws off the look I was going for.The bike was to have a drag bike look to it.The hydraulic forks are more suited to that look.Maybe if I had used bigger tubing for the forks...I dont know.I'll have to wait & see what they look like after I fuck around with them & powder coat them.

John Deere 1020 is a three cylinder. Not sure what type ignition system they use though.

Hey Dan & Sleepy...great info guys. The plate lights are a go & if I can find a used 1020 distributor That should be good too.It runs points, so wiring it would be a snap.Theres also an eletronic upgrade for it.

It seems the bars I had figured out didnt look like I thought they were going to.God...who'd of thunk that handle bars could be so aggrevating to work out.I'm sorta satisfied with these,& will stop here for now anyway.

....I'm using a 7/8 throttle on 1" bars.I like how the grip is the same dia. as the bars.

Got my headlight mounted. The light itself is pretty small, 4 1/4" dia. need to go to the parts store & see if I can find a socket for a lamp that will be bright enough. The mounts on my bars should be welded up to night...so I'll get pics of it all when they get powdered.
