Welcome to the board, and nice ride ya got there.

Good wheel treatment, looks kinda resto/rusto.
Yer probably gonna paint it, but I like it like this.

I really don't like that method of hardtailing shaft drive bikes that is popular in the US. Do the frame as you would a chain drive, but drill a hole in the plate for the axle instead of cutting a slot.

Actually, taking another gander at it, I don't see a lower rail to the rear wheel.
All I see is a top rail coming from the seat area, and that looks like it goes to the lug for the shock mount.
Nothing at the axle at all.
How bout some more pix?
And could you put your location in your profile please..

Cool looking ride, but I have to agree with "dutch" and I live in the good ol USA.

Thanks for the comments. There still needs to be some additional gusseting to be done. I dont quite trust the direct connection to the shock mount on the gearbox either altho I have seen many swear by it. I'm sure at some point they will be swearing at it... I have a fair amount of pix to resize, then post. As far as paint? that changes more than the weather. I'm going with a hammertone silver for the frame. and maybe a gun metal satin blue for the tins. rims may stay red, or a dark cherry red to match the seat highlights.
