SELF INTRODUCTION: I was on the last board as bonustoolkit. I have changed that to my given name.
I started a project build there " File and Fit." I paln to continue that when I go back home in Dec. 2011. I first joined the board when Gary W had it in the year 2005. That was the time I really gained an interest in building chops. I have a long way to go, compared to some here.

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

Sounds healthy Nathan, way to go!
You built pretty much an entire motorcycle from scratch, with a lot of unusual custom built features that took a lot of extra effort.
Damn few people have accomplished that.

Now, some shakedown runs and touch it up with your scheme of choice, it will be a classic.

Can turn around in a 4 way stop.

It is a hard tail.

Can ride over bumps 1 handed.

Can turn 1 handed.

Does not hesitate even in high gear high revs so no carb tuning..

Exhaust does not burn me legs.

Bad:

Brake linkage needs adjusted for more pedal

Front rim needs trued. Will do with new tire.

Know not to fill tank all the way full with paint. That sucked

All in all

ME REAL HAPPY!

It stops bikers to look and pics have been taken at gas station by some of them.

No police have impounded.

30+ miles on her so far.

May have to call of work today to keep riding? VOTE?

With the length of the bike, the turn radius doesn't look bad. Steering does not look as if it is full over.

It is probably a little harder to control the turn trying to feather the clutch on a suicide shift.

Takes getting used to.

How do you like the performance of the girder? Suspension good?

I think once you get used to riding it, you'll be able to do some tight turns without duck walking it around.

Needs a bit of practice.

It rides GREAT considering the front wheel is 3/4 in out true!!

That girder is Great!

Needs cut off put on another bike and a springer made for this one?
