Hey, relatively new guy here. First of all I'd like to say, I've read through your build threads and you do awesome work.
I especially like your Fractured Lacerations build, Making your own I beam frame that was just excellent! And with this build, the lace paint job and the engraving on the motor, it's kinda like the going from one extreme to the other. A completely "industrial" type look to a "delicate artistic" look.
I was wondering about , well I guess you could call it your "process", Do you start out with a complete plan about what you want each particular build to be, or does it evolve as you progress? Do you put all on paper when you begin, to have plan to follow, or is it all "in your head" changing with each new idea that pops up?
I know that probably sounds like a stupid question but for myself I have a hard time putting ideas on paper (kind of pencilly challenged) I don't draw very well, so all my projects (mainly woodworking so far) change from start to finish, unless I go by already existing plans.
Enough of my rambling, once again awesome work, and I'm jonesing to see this one finished.

I have a basic idea of what I want when I start.

But, I let it go where it wants always flexable and just see where it takes me.

There will be simple drawings done along the way but, not really needed.

Just start and be willing to change direction as you go. At least that is what I do.

Thanks by the way.

I have had it running got all the lights working have not been able to test charging system yet BUT!

Now to wait until someone opens up this morning to fix it.

Here is a picture from my ride over to the scrap yard. This is where I bought the steel and billet from. Built from scrap metal did not turn out too bad? He sells new DOM tube and sheet steel also. I was able to buy all the materials but the DOM tube at scrap prices by the pound.

Quote from them:
Nathan Ferguson rode this in... started with a KZ 400 engine and steel from this yard, added talent and creativity and ... Voila!
