SELF INTRODUCTION: Hello everyone. first of all a big thanks to "Dan the Man". Some of you know me from the previous (2) boards and some don't, so here goes. I have been a fabricator/welder for over 40 years now. Damn that's a helluva long time to do anything! Anyways, I have built literaly 100's of street rods, pro streeters, racecars, bikes and trikes over the years. Never made the headlines and never will. I do what I do because it is the love of my life.
I enjoy reading the posts on the forum and try to contribute when I can. I am sure that this will be every bit as good as the CBH forum, as we will have most of the same folks. Good luck and post a lot of pics!! Jim

Thanks Jim. We built this one back in 1996 or 1997...it was a 1980 model and the forks were stock but with +6 inch over tubes.....at least I seem to remember they were +6 inch over.....

SELF INTRODUCTION: I am not a bum. I'm a jerk. I once had wealth, power, and the love of a beautiful woman. Now I only have two things: my friends and... uh... my thermos. Huh? My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi.

Sporty's get a bad Rap, but they shouldn't, they make a hell of a chopper.

They sure do, especially when you bore and stroke them like my Bro did with this baby... over here in the UK big twins are often too expensive for us ordinary folks so sporties are much more populat (prices are about double those of Stateside...) and yes I used to be able to kick start it!!!

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

Yeah, compared to stock big twins, they do super well. Better valve train configuration, 4 cams, lighter, more nimble.
Its easy to massage them for great HP and Torque numbers too.

Very nice chopper Maz. You and your brother were building some sweet rides.
