45 HD frame dimensions

Post by friday »

Ive been hunting down early frame rakes , trying to get correct rake for 1926 scout.
Ive measured 22 - 23 degrees but need to be bang on , they use these frames in the wall of death ,because of the geometry and I dont want to stuff it.
Frames bent to start with . ffs!!

the servicar from seat post forward is the same as 45 solo , the rake = 23 degrees , still trying to find JD rake .
seems to be typical rake in the 1920 - 30s

WLA = 23 degree

*short 36 - 40 BT = 28 degree
*medium 41 - 45 = 29 degree
*long 46 - 47 = 30 degree
48 - 64 = 30 degree
65 - 84 = 30 degree

^^ * Bruce Palmer numbers above
---------------------------------------------------------
37 - 40 = 25 degree
41 - 46 = 28 degree
46 - 47 = 30 degree

Id say this guys figures are accurate
