Well to my mind. they are just the coolest thing...simplicity...never seen one, do wonder how they fair? The 2nd version is very clever...want to see more....

Iam thinking if you got the slider inside the tube to a good tolerence, the tube leg would become a bit of a gas shock? especially if its packed with grease?
