Re: Gary is alive
Yes, it’s good to be alive. It’s good to know you guys are too! Looks like most of the gang is here. I talk to Railroad Bob on FB. I’m still riding and working on bikes. I sold the last chopper, the 200 tire, to a guy in town who in turn sold it to a guy in the midwest somewhere. I rode it a couple ...

Re: Gary is alive
I can confirm he is alive, I chatted with him on Instagram a few weeks ago. He’s back in Nor Cal and Virginia City, NV he said. He’s near me, so I’ll probably try to visit him soon.

Re: Irish's CBH CR200
I cut out some rockers and ordered some Oilite bushings. I had to get rid of the ork stabbers. I want to run a 5/8 axle with a spool laced to a 23" hoop. Any thoughts? The original rockers has needle bearings and we only 5/16" thick, so floppy and suicidal as hell.

Re: Irish's CBH CR200
I have to go with the drag bars....frame looks good dude Thanks man. Yeah, I'm not quite sure where this is going... I installed a pulley and mocked up the trans position, looks like it will line up nicely. I had to dimple the tubes a bit to get pulley clearance. I calculated a 126T belt, which is ...

Re: Softail 5 speed in a 4 speed Shovel Frame
Thanks, D. I have an old FXR inner, I will see How that fits. I have the trans and adapter Mount plate. I'm waiting on a Sprocket since the trans came with a belt drive sprocket. I have a like new Twinky primary chain and sprockets, clutch basket etc. Anxious to get it done! I looked on J, but my s...

Re: Slow Build
Hans, on the motor mounts, why dont you just cut the welds on the rear one, or the front one, bolt the case in tight and re tack whichever mount you cut loose. If you tack weld it in 4 places it should stay in place when you weld it. Better than having to use shims. What type shims? Flat washers? To...

Re: Irish's CBH CR200
Im thinking of using a 23 inch front wheel laced to a spool hub, the fork is too narrow for a brake. Im also going to build new rockers and get rid of the crazy pointy things.

Re: Irish's CBH CR200
Lookin good! What kind of neck gusset or tube is it gonna get? Dusty It'll get a plate on either side of the neck. I have a 5 speed trans and a rear pulley coming. Im going to mount the trans, put a drive belt on and get the rear hub spacers cut. I need an engine case too, I sold off all my Harley ...
