not a lot today took too long to get the fishmouths right on the seat post and neck and keep everything square and level but it ended up 45 degrees rake and 4inch stretch in the backbone . decided not to bend the seat post i did 2 and didnt quite like the look maybe the next one . gotta pick up some wire wheels so i can start welding or at least tacking

started the bottom rails today still need to work on where they come together then i can bend up the rear

really starting to look like something . gotta start the cleaning and welding . waiting for steel for the rear trans and front motor mount should be here this week . i have put the fender in and the king queen seat looks way better than the first one unfortunately i didnt get pics but it wont be long and ill be back to where i was before

- SELF INTRODUCTION: Have always liked choppers since I was a kid, never thought I had skills enough untill I found the "Handbook" sight just recently. Reading the info posted on the "Hand book" sight made me think maybe I can.
I have a little experience fabricating things.

spent some time tacking things up today . still waiting for my steel to show up for the front motor mount and the rear trans they tell me it will be monday now

been making small progress got the welding mostly done got fender mounted the rear wheel is on but the spacing is off needs to be adjusted so i can make a brake mount made a 6 foot tall sissy bar its only 4 inches from ceiling on the bench it needs something like an insert or topper or both i dont know

Looking good Curt. Where did you pick up that brake disc? That's somethin' a little different.

Seem to be moving right along now that you got your welder.
Have you got a deadline/goal for completion?(Like a show or rally) Or are you going at it like I do (I'll get done when I get done)

no deadline like you . it will slow down again as i try and find a drivetrain hopefully something with a title new york is a pain with registration
