Re: curts softail build
Hi curt, i agree it is hard to tell when the bike is high up on bike table. I am also still trying to decide what i want my gas tank to look like, i like the stock honda tank for its general size plus it holds lots of gas for the thirsty 750 4-cylinder engine. But it does not have the look i want my honda cb750 bobber to be, hard decisions.

Re: curts softail build
this is one of the reasons I made my frame jig to fit onto my bike table - I can let it down to somewhere near ground level to do a visual check when I need to...

Re: curts softail build
I built my bike table at roughly waist height, so with bike mounted up on it you can see how it all looks at all angles more or less. Or i can just use my ramp to roll it down to the ground for a better visual look etc.

Re: curts softail build
Well when you build your steel frame jig Thomas, you could make an air/hydraulic operated table to put it on......jonester123 wrote:I built my bike table at roughly waist height, so with bike mounted up on it you can see how it all looks at all angles more or less. No worries maz, i have it on my big list of things to build and materials to buy. Just hard to figure out where to put money first to keep going on the bike build.
