I got the neck and rear axle plates cleaned/ground and settled on 55 degree rake I think with everything positioned correctly for 4 in ground clearance and a total hieght under 38 in.

Now to work on wrapping a frame.

The wheel is offset to one side for the drive. The whole swingarm was offset 1/2 to that side.

I was able to find at the breakers a longer 17mm axle for the rear. Now I can just make a longer spacer for brake side and have straight frame rails to the rear axle plates.

It cost me 3$ for axle have no idea what it is off. I may be able to use the old rear axle for the front girder too?

Notice string on the right shows the difference. Moving both plates over 1/2in means the one on the right has to move out 1in to be same distance from center.

1.5 longer can be made to proper length with just spacers.

May be able to bend some rails now I think?

The swingarm axle plates were cast steel. At least they tested that way with the spark test. Instead off taking a chance with the cast material I decided to just remake with steel.

I need to adjust from the rear with how this frame will be so they a almost perfect just need to be the right material.

This angle was the exact same thickness. Cut the back plates from it.

I went to several auto parts stores and looked at their pre formed radiator hoses.

I was able to find two too splice together and kick it around the lower rails to move them in.

Then tacked the radiator hoop on and bent the top rails.

Will fit them tomorrow.

Made the front motor mounts.

Welded the 3/4 solid rod in for rear mounts.

Started to layout for rear mounts.

Made cardboard simulators to help with that.

The purple line on cardboard is the actual rear tire size of 24 in.

Work on making and tacking rear section bars tomorrow.

Good progress, the back wheel looks big in the mockup. Strong frame.

Got the tail section tacked.

Had to do first to get location for the rear motor mounts and mid pegs.

Hope to build them next week.

I have to admit...wasn't a big Fan of the way lower Rails left so much Motor exposed, but I'm really starting to dig it.Extremely different.Definately a cool Build Dude.
