thanks just the looks on the rakerailroad bob wrote: ↑Sat Nov 15, 2025 9:21 pm Really like everything you're doing, great stance. How did you come to have a 45 degree rake? I love it, just wondering if there is a certain reason, or mainly for looks.
I love it.

- SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

Wish I had a mag drill. Would like to have some holes in my welding table so I could drop in some clamps.

Coming along nicely Curt. The new location for the oil tank will sure help cool it. I'm sure you considered damage from road debris. If anything punctures it you'll have bigger things to be worrying about.
I like it. A lot.

If you hop a curb you'll have a lot of other low hanging fruit to worry about.
Doubt you'll be doing that. You can move it up a little if you need to.
Looks like the wall thickness will take a hard hit.

Looks handy for a lot of different parts. Pegs, grips, light stems, brackets.
Maybe some turning of thin gauge. Light buckets...
