Room for one more image so here you can see the bronze oil tank that I designed and my brother Grant built and engraved with my Skull Leaf Clover Irish Cycles logo. Thanks to pops David Irish who machined the vented cap and filler neck for the tank.

OK I finally rounded up all of the photos that I have. I'll post them in order that they were taken which will show the different looks. The only real differences are the gas and oil tanks. Later I changed some other bits also. So here goes...
This is in my driveway while I was still tuning the carburetor and ignition and sorting the clutch and linkage for the clutch.
This is June '06 with the bronze tank. I was engraved on top with my cyclhed logo, a skull with wings, no not HA! I need to find a picture. The tank is still around somewhere.

The gas and oil tanks were made with silicon bronze sheet metal with brass caps and bungs. They had a bronze and green colored patina applied to them and then they were waxed. The gas tank looked cool, if a bit crude, but proved to be too heavy.

I switched over to the original steel sporty frisco tank because the bronze tank was too heavy and broke the mounts off the frame! I also switched back and forth between the bronze and steel oil tanks when one would spring a leak and I'd have to weld it.

I rode the bike to the 2007 Horse Smoke Out 8 in Salisbury, NC and camped for a couple days. The night before I left I painted some yellow panels on the tank. I had the tank pinstriped by a guy called Jaybird at the show. I met some cool folks and had a blast

Thanks hoser! I thought I'd better get back on here and see what's up. I'm going to keep updating this until it's complete. I'll post pictures of versions 2, 3, and 4. Or should it changed be 2.0, 3.0....
The only real changes I made were: a new fuel tank with a tunnel, it's the same style Sportster tank, but tunneled and mounted low over the top tube. A much better look IMO.
And I changed the color on the bronze oil tank to black patina from the green. I also changed the headlamp out for a Arlen Ness aluminum unit.
The new tank...

Version 3 changes were not much, but it changed the look quite a bit: Changed out the sissy bar for some hotrod style drilled struts that I whipped up, pillion removed and some bronze bits for the engine and air filter.

The next change I made was to switch over to foot shift from the jockey/suicide clutch set-up. I welded a bracket onto the frame to hold the end of the clutch cable and switched the lever on the trans for a cable type. I installed a Jaybrake clutch lever to match the front brake m/c on the other side. I found a matching left side forward control too; don't ya love ebay? I installed the proper lever on the trans and connected it to the foot pedal with bent rod. From looking at the pics I also went back to the steel oil tank and also changed the tail lamp and tag bracket to a cat eye. Oh and it looks like I added some ISO pegs with stirrups...oh and the sissy bar is back!
the clutch lever...unbelievable...

I thought I would finally finish adding the last pictures of my CBH Old School Chop. This is the final version of the motorcycle with the black paint, white flames and red striping.
