- SELF INTRODUCTION: I was on the last board as bonustoolkit. I have changed that to my given name.
I started a project build there " File and Fit." I paln to continue that when I go back home in Dec. 2011. I first joined the board when Gary W had it in the year 2005. That was the time I really gained an interest in building chops. I have a long way to go, compared to some here.

Hey man there is an ass for every seat. Not my cup of tea but then again none of my friends like to ride my bikes. My CFL is a 4 up with 8" risers, 6* trees 6 over tubes and 26" wide drag bars. A very different ride for those in the northeast who seem to like their apes.hansgoudzwaard wrote:HaHa, LMAO, case in point, saw this old post on another site re. hand controls; what comfort!!

Re: up stretch measurements
It is real hard to build a bike ti look good and fit a rider comfortably that is the real skill!
I know many do not like mine but a lot of it was purposed so the bike fit me?
I personally think the great builders only think a bike is complete with the rider?

- SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

Ergonomics are a huge part of making a bike you love to ride, much more than style. If it don't fit ya, you'll look at it more than you ride it.Customize IT wrote:It is real hard to build a bike ti look good and fit a rider comfortably that is the real skill!

My all time favorite bike was a 1968 T100R , but at 6' 2" and 250 I looked like a gorilla on a schwinn !

Try 6 foot and 300 on a 69 bonnie. Great bike, runs and handles great, just too small for me.gearhead1951 wrote:My all time favorite bike was a 1968 T100R , but at 6' 2" and 250 I looked like a gorilla on a schwinn !
