Molly went to Arkansas, she got raped by Dobbin's dog
But she was doing good 'til she went in the woods
And got pinned up against a log
Pretty good, not bad, she can't complain
'Cause actually all them dogs are just about the same

SELF INTRODUCTION: I first found the chopperbuilders handbook back in 2004. Thanks to the board, and all its members, I was able to build My bike, and have ridden it 25,000 miles. I learned a lot, made some friends, and had a great time building it

Built the front engine mount-alternator mount. The pulley is part of the 1 to 10 drive for the blower. It will get a 10-tooth sprocket outboard the pulley driven from the crank sprocket.

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

I see you were in Raton in Jan. When is the next Raton show? I'm able to ride again after both knees were replaced last year.
Might be able to attend. Not sure about riding from Abilene. That winter weather can be real nasty.
Haven't been in that area in many years.

Third week in July 2024 was the last Run to Raton; I just didn't get the photos posted in a timely manner. Doesn't sound like there will be any more.

Damn, I'm almost always in Alaska in the summer. Except last year. I was in recovery from surgery.
Couldn't ride but did a buncha car stuff. Well, maybe it will keep going. That's the thing about the smaller venues.
Attracts mostly independent minded folks, DIYers, not a lot of revenue to attract vendors.
Went to Aspencade several years ago with my buddy at Ruidoso. The one in October. He knew a club from Odessa that always camped the same place, so we hung with them. Good sized crowd, not huge like Daytona or Sturgis but pretty big. But that town gets a lot of visitors for horse racing and skiing, has a casino, some other attractions.
That famous pin striper from Arizona was there, does the Phoenix designs, lemme see, Steve Kafka. He is restoring the van that Von Dutch lived and worked in. The Von Dutch Project.
So it was a good rally. Sorry for hijacking your thread.
Keep on keeping on.
